Vice President - Sales & Marketing
Location - This position is
based out of the Springfield, Missouri corporate office.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related curriculum
is required (master's degree is preferred). A successful
candidate will have a demonstrated minimum of 10-15 years
of strong, successful experience in planning, organizing,
developing and controlling all aspects of business-to-business
sales, marketing and new product development in a human
food ingredient manufacturing/processing company. Individual
needs to have successful experience in developing a sales
network, training sales personnel, and creating an international
sales network. Experience in the use of a broker network
is preferred. Must be willing to travel domestically and
internationally.
Responsibilities
- The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible
for field sales and marketing activities of assigned products
and markets as related to the profitable sale of products,
penetration of markets, and knowledge of customers' needs;
for marketplace research, product development and then successful
new product introduction; for sound Management practices
in the direct supervision of Sales and Marketing Representatives,
Broker Representatives and Customer Service Representatives;
for the most effective and profitable distribution channels;
and for the training of all sales personnel and broker sales
personnel. This individual will report directly to the President
of all three companies (IDF, ADF and FITCO) and is on the
Leadership Team. Among our three companies, we have approximately
500 associates in 13 locations spread across 6 states.
